    Inklúzia a rozmanitosť

    Inklúzia a rozmanitosť

Doplňujúci grant (tzv. top-up) nad rámec grantu, ktorý dostáva každý účastník mobility cestujúci do danej krajiny.

Pri dlhodobej mobilite je štandardná finančná podpora navýšená o 250 € na mesiac.
Pri krátkodobej mobilite je možné získať jednorazový príspevok vo výške:

      • 100€ pri krátkodobej mobilite v trvaní 5 až 14 dní;
      • 150 € ak aktivita trvá 15 až 30 dní.

    Cestovanie

    Cestovanie

ERASMUS+ study stay is the completion of a part of study abroad with partial financial support from the EU, while this period of study abroad must be fully recognized by the domestic higher education institution and replaces a comparable period of study at the domestic higher education institution. After completing the study stay abroad, the student receives a written document of completion of the agreed study together with a transcript of the study results (Transcript of records).

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE IN THE STUDY STAY?

    • Bc. degree - 2nd, 3rd year
    • Ing. degree -1st, 2nd year
    • Ph.D. degree - 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th year

    DURATION OF MOBILITY

    - study stay: 2 to 12 months (standard physical mobility)

    - mixed/combined mobility: 5 – 30 days physical mobility + mandatory virtual mobility

    - short-term mobility of doctoral students: 5 – 30 days physical mobility

A student may participate in mobility periods with a total duration of a maximum of 12 months of physical mobility for each level of study, regardless of the number and type of activities within the mobility.

WHERE CAN ERASMUS+ MOBILITY BE IMPLEMENTED?

A study stay can only be implemented on the basis of an inter-institutional agreement (IIA) between VŠBM, where the student is studying, and the foreign university. According to the list of Erasmus+ inter-institutional agreements.

    Before the stay

    • Read the following instructions for the realization of your foreign study mobility, or contact and inform about the possibilities and the procedure with the coordinator of the Erasmus+ program in person or by e-mail at erasmus@vsbm.sk
    • Choose a university according to the list of VŠBM partner universities where you are interested in studying.
    • According to the published deadlines, deliver the application, CV in English/Slovak language and letter of motivation to the selection process in person to the coordinator of the Erasmus+ program or send it to erasmus@vsbm.sk .
    • The selection criteria for international mobility for students are as follows: intellectual and personal readiness for a study stay, or work placement abroad (study results, overall attitude towards studies or professional practice), clearly defined goals of mobility, motivation, independence and responsibility.
    • After your application is accepted, accepted by a foreign university and according to the coordinator's instructions, the student registers, fills out and signs the Online Learning Agreement for studies (OLA). The OLA is signed electronically directly in the given system, it must be signed by 3 parties - the student, the home faculty and the foreign university. The student is obliged to enroll in OLA subjects worth at least 15 ECTS credits (per 1 semester).
    • Acceptance by a foreign university means the approval (signing) of the Learning Agreement for Studies. The student then follows the instructions of the receiving university (accommodation, Welcome Week, etc.). The Erasmus Student Network can be a source of further information and assistance in organizing the stay.

Before departure, it is also necessary to deliver/send to the coordinator:

    • a copy of the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), or commercial travel insurance,
    • bank details,
    • support for inclusion (as relevant)
    • green travel (as relevant)
    • other.

After submitting all documents and filling in personal and other data, you will be instructed to sign the Grant Agreement. The student is obliged to read the contract, sign it and deliver it to the coordinator of the Erasmus+ program.

Amount of the grant - The allocated grant within the Erasmus+ program represents net income for the student and is not subject to taxation. The maximum amount of the grant is determined by the European Commission, countries are divided into three groups and individual rates apply to all universities in Slovakia.

Applied rates - section - Higher education

Based on the recommendation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic, we recommend that students register on the website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Slovak Republic for assistance in emergency situations before the mobility trip: REGISTRATION HERE

    After returning

THE STUDENT SUBMITS to the Erasmus+ coordinator (within 7 days from the end of the stay):

    • Certificates confirming participation in pre-study activities (language course, orientation week...), if he declared an obligation to participate in them before mobility
    • Certificate - original certificate of completion of mobility from the receiving institution with the length of study - exact date of study stay
    • Transcript of Records - transcript of grades, passed credits and exams from the receiving institution.

The credits obtained must be a minimum of 15 ECTS credits per semester, otherwise VŠBM will impose sanctions on the student (financial reduction of the allocated grant). In individual cases of non-compliance with the conditions, the institutional coordinator can decide on the scope of sanctions, based on an assessment of the documented causes.

Report: the participant is obliged to complete and submit the final report of the participant (via the online EU Survey tool) after mobility abroad, no later than 30 calendar days after receiving the invitation to fill it out. The organization may request a partial or full refund of the financial support sent from the participant who does not complete and submit the final report.

    Language assessment: according to relevance.

*The given information is basic and informative and may differ individually depending on the student's situation and the requirements of the foreign university.

    What do you get?

    → International experience

Staying abroad is not only about new friends, unforgettable experiences, but above all an excellent investment for the future. You will gain valuable international experience, which is an advantage, often a necessity, when looking for a good job after graduation.

→ You will improve your foreign language

The least painful way to learn a foreign language is to "experience" it in the inconspicuous everydayness of everyday life among friends. Erasmus+ mobility can be a pleasant form of experiential learning that will open the doors to a different world that you did not understand before.

    >→ Erasmus+ will change you for life

This is not a joke. A study abroad will really change you. It will give self-confidence to the fearful, courage to the pessimists and confidence and hope for a successful future.

    USM staff

    USM staff

The ERASMUS+ program enables university employees to participate in mobility in the countries of the European Union.

The receiving university can be selected from the list of foreign universities with which VŠBM has signed an inter-institutional agreement - IIA.

    Staff - STA - teaching

Mobility for the purpose of teaching (STA) aims at teaching at the receiving institution.

Duration: 2-60 days in the case of mobility to EU countries or third countries associated with the program and 5-60 days in the case of mobility to third countries not associated with the program, excluding travel days.

Mobility can also have a mixed form of physical and virtual part of mobility, however, the physical part must last at least a minimum length.

A teacher must teach at least 8 hours for a mobility that lasts a week or less.

The number of lessons learned must be confirmed on the mobility certificate.

This type of mobility activities also includes employees from a foreign company who are invited by the university to lecture students on practical topics. Attention, it must not be employees of a foreign higher education institution, because they may be financed by their home sending higher education institution. An employee from the company is paid a grant by the inviting institution (Slovak higher education institution) similarly to its seconding employees, but at the rate for the Slovak Republic.

In the case of an employee invited from the company for training, his mobility must last at least 1 day, and the minimum number of 8 hours does not apply.

    Staff Mobility Agreement - teaching

    Staff - STT - training

The event allows a teaching or non-teaching staff at a university to complete training at a university or in an organization and company, while the result of the mobility should be professional growth of the staff.

Activities can be different: training, study visit, joint work, working groups, practical training, "job shadowing", improvement of pedagogical skills and skills necessary for curriculum creation, etc.

Participation in conferences is not allowed.

The duration of this mobility activity is 2-60 days in the case of mobility to EU countries or third countries associated with the program and 5-60 days in the case of mobility to third countries not associated with the program, excluding travel days.

Mobility can also have a mixed form of physical and virtual part of mobility, however, the physical part must last at least a minimum length.

    Staff Mobility Agreement - training

Staff - STA + STT - Combined mobility

This is a combination of STA and STT mobility activities, which should ideally take place at the same receiving institution.

The duration of this mobility activity is 2-60 days in the case of mobility to EU countries or third countries associated with the program and 5-60 days in the case of mobility to third countries not associated with the program, excluding travel days.

Mobility can also have a mixed form of physical and virtual part of mobility, while the physical part must last at least a specified minimum.

In the case of combined mobility, it is sufficient for the teacher to teach at least 4 hours per week or in a shorter period of time.

An applicant for such combined mobility submits one application to the organization, signs one grant agreement and one mobility program (for these purposes, the model of the mobility program for teaching is used, to which information about training is added).

Upon arrival from any mobility, the employee must present the following documents:

    • • Certificate confirming the beginning and end of mobility, in the case of STA, also the number of hours learned
    • • Mobility report – after the end of the mobility, the employee will receive an automatic email with a personal link to fill out the questionnaire
    • • According to relevance - travel tickets (in the case of traveling by car, proof of purchase of fuel during mobility abroad), invoice for accommodation, travel insurance + payment documents

    Inclusion and diversity

    Inclusion and diversity

Erasmus+ aims to promote equality of opportunity and access, inclusion, diversity and equity in all its actions. With this goal in mind, the program focuses on organizations and participants with a lack of opportunities to whom the mechanisms and resources of the program are made available.

"A person with a lack of opportunities is a potential participant whose personal, physical, mental or health condition does not allow him to participate in a mobility project/action without additional financial or other support."

The aim of the strategy is to help remove obstacles that different target groups may face in accessing opportunities in Europe and beyond and to provide additional financial support not only to the student but also to the accompanying person if necessary.

    Additional financial support

An additional grant (so-called top- up) beyond the grant received by each mobility participant traveling to the given country.

For long-term mobility, the standard financial support is increased by €250 per month.

For short-term mobility, it is possible to receive a one-time allowance (added to the grant that each participant receives) in the amount of:

    • €100 for short-term mobility lasting 5 to 14 days;
    • €150 if the activity lasts 15 to 30 days.

For a special grant if he needs to increase the additional grant. The application is submitted to the sending university on the prescribed application form, in which the requested amount is justified. The special grant must be billed after mobility on the basis of real costs, so it is necessary to save receipts and invoices.

The list of these possible obstacles, which is presented below, is not complete and is meant to serve as a reference when implementing measures to improve accessibility and reach out to people with a lack of opportunities.

The following obstacles can prevent them from participating, either individually or in combination:

    Travel

    Travel

A travel allowance or travel grant is awarded to all students who participate in any Erasmus+ mobility.

Green travel is an ecological form of travel. It is travel in which at least half of the journey is made using low-emission means of transport, such as buses or trains, boats, bicycles, carpooling (at least 2 people travelling together for mobility). We do not consider air transport and independent car travel to be green travel..

Students and recent graduates may be allocated extra days for travel.

Students and recent graduates of VŠBM implementing Erasmus mobilities can use a one-time financial contribution for green travel, as a supplementary amount of individual support.

A person with a lack of opportunities (see section "Inclusion and diversity") is entitled to an increased travel allowance in green travel, which is derived from the distance between the receiving and sending institution.

Employees are entitled to preferential travel grants with higher rates than standard travel.

The financial contribution is allocated on the basis of a declaration of honor and travel tickets. The student/employee fills out an oath before leaving for mobility. After the end of the mobility, the student/employee is obliged to document travel tickets or other relevant confirmation for the purpose of documenting the mobility trip.

    OLS

    OLS – Online Language Support

Online Linguistic Support (OLS) is a European Commission tool that aims to monitor the impact of mobility on language skills and to improve the quality of mobility within the Erasmus+ programme by supporting language training. The OLS tool allows the European Commission, national agencies, and especially institutions to manage and monitor the progress of participants in their language skills. OLS allows participants to test their language skills before and after the mobility and to take a language course.

    Official OLS website.

    Welcome to OLS

The aim of the online linguistic support is to help Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps participants improve their knowledge of the language in which they will work, study or volunteer abroad, so that they can make the most of their experience.

Insufficient language skills remain one of the main obstacles to taking advantage of European opportunities in the fields of education, training and youth mobility. The aim of the online linguistic support is therefore to make linguistic support available in a flexible and easy way. The online linguistic support also contributes to the specific objective of the Erasmus+ programme to promote language learning and linguistic diversity.

    Available languages

Online linguistic support is available for all official languages of the European Union: Bulgarian, Spanish, Czech, Danish, German, Estonian, Greek, English, French, Irish, Croatian, Italian, Latvian, Lithuanian, Hungarian, Maltese, Dutch, Polish, Portuguese, Romanian, Slovak, Slovenian, Finnish and Swedish.

In addition, online linguistic support will also be available in the official languages of the countries participating in the Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps programmes: Icelandic, Macedonian, Norwegian, Serbian and Turkish.

    How it works

Erasmus+ and European Solidarity Corps participants who take the OLS language assessment before going abroad will have a better idea of their language skills in the language they are going to study, work or volunteer in and will have access to personalised language learning.

Participants who want to improve their language skills can take online language courses before or during their stay abroad. Access to the language course includes a wide range of interactive and individually tailored activities. Participants can take language courses in any of the languages available within the online language support, with no limit to the number of languages and study departments.
